Town of Kilmarnock Flood Resilience Plan Available for Public Review and Comment
Town of Kilmarnock invites residents, businesses, stakeholders, and community partners to
review and provide comments on the draft Town of Kilmarnock Flood Resilience Plan.
The Flood Resilience Plan was developed through a collaborative effort involving local officials,
community stakeholders, and the public. Findings were informed by input gathered during a
public workshop held at the Lancaster County Community Library on June 30, 2026, as well as
a survey that was publicized on the Town website for three weeks following the workshop. The
purpose of the Flood Resilience Plan is to identify flood-related risks and vulnerabilities within
the Town of Kilmarnock and establish strategies and actions to improve long-term community
resilience.
