The Town Office is taking all necessary precautions to remain safe and unaffected by this virus. If you should feel uncomfortable coming into the Town Office and need to take care of paying a bill or have questions regarding water/sewer or any other issue, please call us at 804-435-1552. We also have a drop-box located by the back door to the Town Office off of West Church Street for payments as well as online payments and take payments by regular mail.

The Town of Kilmarnock will attempt to keep you up to date as we learn more. Please stay informed and take the necessary precautions to remain safe and help continue to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. What is coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)?

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a respiratory illness that can spread from person to person. The virus that causes COVID-19 is a novel coronavirus that was first identified during  an investigation into an outbreak in Wuhan, China.

What are the symptoms of COVID-19?

Patients with COVID-19 have had mild to severe respiratory illness with symptoms of:
• fever
• cough
• shortness of breath

How can I help protect myself?

People can help protect themselves from respiratory illness with everyday preventive actions.

• Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are not available.
