Kilmarnock’s Budget
The Town fiscal year begins July 1 and ends June 30 of each year. The Treasurer and Town Manager prepare the budget for Town Council’s review.
There is a public hearing of the proposed budget in May of each year followed by a final reading in June. This is conducted at the Town Council meeting of the respective month.
FY2024 Budget:
Real Estate tax rates and personal property tax rates remain unchanged. Water rates will increase $5 per two month billing cycle and sewer rates will increase $15 per two month billing cycle effective July 1, 2023.
