Dennis Burchill Scholarship Fund
Dennis W. Burchill was the driving force behind the growth and development of the Boys and Girls Club of the Northern Neck. He served as their Board of Directors President and was a board member for many years. The Dennis W. Burchill Scholarship will provide an annual $1,000 award to a Boys and Girls club member who is pursing higher education in any communications studies. This endowed found, established by family, friends, and colleagues memorializes his impact of almost five decades in broadcast media- on air, in sales and management, and as a mentor.
The Town of Kilmarnock is proud to be able to participate in this fund by donating $2,000 and be able to continue Dennis’s legacy and love for his community. He is missed each and everyday but will forever hold a special place in Kilmarnock’s heart!
