Installing Utilities
Water and sewer lines are now being installed along Mary Ball Road. Check out our pictures.
Project Scope
This project involves a cooperative effort between the citizens in the Mary Ball Road corridor, the Town of Kilmarnock, Bay Aging and the Commonwealth of Virginia. Made possible through a Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development grant, this project will:
- Provide decent, safe and sanitary housing for 22 households
- Provide water and sewer services to 26 households
- Perform restoration activities on a historic barbershop
- Provide street lights and sidewalks to certain areas
- Provide community cleanup efforts
Anticipated to take approximately 36 months to conclude, periodic updates will be available through community meetings, newsletters and this website.
